Joy Zipper was born and raised in Berlin, Ohio, home to one of the largest Amish Communities in the world. 

She has spent the last 20 years in the natural and organic food industry, passionately fighting to help improve our food supply – ultimately believing it is a fight to protect future generations. Her heart and soul currently lie with Berlin Natural Bakery where her motto has been “We do what’s right even when it isn’t easy.” 

Joy’s entire family – husband, children and nephew – all work together in some capacity in this same industry and each of them is solidly committed to the mission. Joy is also in partnership with a variety of other ventures and has served as a business consultant in a number of industries.

Joy can easily be considered a mother and mentor to many – through both business and divine appointments – and she gives selflessly to every person that enters her life with a need.

She currently resides in Penngrove, California with her husband and love of her life, Alan Zipper.
